FAQ

  • We are fairly flexible with drop-off times as we want you to be able to get the most out of your sauna experience!

For pick-up, we will need the stove completely cooled to be able to transport it. Our intent will be to pick rental up the morning after your last rental day. This will allow you to use the sauna at any point during your last rental day!

Ex. If your rental period is Friday to Sunday, a 3 day rental, we will plan to pick up the sauna on Monday morning. You will not be charged for the pick-up day.

  • - Relaxation: The heat from a sauna can trigger a relaxation response which can lead to decreased stress hormones and promote the feeling of calmness.

    - Detoxification: Sweating in a sauna can help remove toxins and impurities from the body through the skin.

    - Improved cardiovascular health: Sauna use can help lower blood pressure and improve blood vessel function.

    - Pain relief: Sauna use may help alleviate pain associated with conditions like arthritis and muscle soreness by improving circulation and relaxing muscles.

    - Skin health: The heat can open up pores and increase blood flow to the skin, potentially leading to improved skin tone and texture.

  • Everyone! However, there are a few things to consider.

    - Always consult a doctor if you have certain health conditions, including but not limited to low blood pressure, heart conditions or pregnancy. If you have a known health condition and aren't sure if using a sauna is safe, consult your care team.

    - Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Younger children should stay lower or seated on the floor. Again, consult your child's doctor if you have questions or concerns.

  • - Prepare: Shower before entering to remove dirt and soap residue.

    - Hydration is key: Drink plenty of water before, during, and after your sauna session.

    - Towel use: Use a towel to sit on to prevent direct contact with the bench. A second towel can be used to wipe sweat from your face or body as needed.

    - Time limits: Limit your first session to 10-12 minutes. Take a 5-10 minute break to cool down before entering the sauna again. Don't sit in the sauna for more than 30 minutes at a single time.

    - Listen to your body: Exit the sauna if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, unwell or uncomfortable in anyway.
